Hi all,
I'm new to R/C and have bought myself the E-Firestorm Flux 2 months ago.
First I have to say the power is immense, even when running a NiMh 4000 stickpack.
After bashing and cracking the stock shell I decided it needed somthing new, so I ordered a clear Chevy Silverado body (for MT2 and Rush)
Mounting and antenna holes aren't mapped out and need to be customized, and the body barely fits over the rear shock mount - but barely is enough
I replaced the wobbly, bendy front arms with the composite HPI ones, which improved straight-line behavior dramatically.
Sadly, you can tell this car was derived from a nitro model - weight distribution is awful. And that amount of power makes it hard to handle. Wheeliebars help a little, but they don't let you steer very well
I am now looking for a way to add some weight to the front axle - that should work magic for the steering. Has anyone tried this?
But.. I DO LOVE IT
It's a shame that shipping parts to Belgium is so expensive and that Belgian R/C stores seem to have made price-agreements - this makes parts up to three times as expensive as in the US..
Is there an easier/cheaper way?
